Calypso and Gargantua

What in the world does Gargantua have to do with Calypso. Well I have to be honest with you, the connection is tenuous. BUT it is made a little more clear with my VIRB 360 Camera and it's attributes, helping to make that connection.

It starts with my thinking about the imagery used in the movie Interstellar and then it connects to, what is possible with the VIRB Edit software. The camera and it's editing software have aspects that can be considered, which are outside the normal thinking about video capturing memories.

There is now on the "On-Calypso" page, a video that connects the three items in a somewhat slow examination of the three factors. Just scroll down to the PSEUDO PDR description and you will find the video on the three factors:

1) Thinking about the image of Gargantua and it's ring of distortion around the sphere of the black hole. There seems to be an emphasis on what could be considered a horizontal plane. BUT YOU ARE NOT STUCK THERE.

2) The "thinking" of part 1 is connected to my memories of driving Calypso, surrounded by sights and panorama's surrounding the trips, all on the horizontal.

THERE HAS TO BE MORE.

AND WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT - THERE IS A SPHERE.

3) Understanding that there is more than just the horizontal plane that surrounds Calypso while driving - the entire concept of 360 x 360 and perspective is put on the table for one to consider when constructing the memories that video provides.

IT JUST ANOTHER WAY OF LOOKING AT IT.
